Abiso is the personal information controller for the data described here, under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173). Abiso PH is an independent service and is not affiliated with any utility unless stated.

On your device

Your browser stores a list of the alerts you turned on, so you can stop them later, and your analytics choice. This stays on your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Services that help run Abiso

Some parts of the website load from other providers. When your browser loads them, those providers can see your IP address. They are not given your alert details.

How we protect your data

Data travels over encrypted connections. Access to alert data is limited to the people who run Abiso. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising, and we share it only with the services above, or when the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to object, to have it corrected, erased or blocked, to data portability, and to claim damages. You can stop any alert yourself with the "Stop" link in each alert, or in the alerts window on the map.

For any other request, contact us. If you believe we mishandled your data, you can also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
